The Taming Of The Screw
I was taking my wife to work in our car this morning. It was a fairly normal morning for us, with little to no unexpected twists or turns. I backed the car up, put it into gear, and glided gently down the driveway. Our drive is rather steep, so there’s usually a bit of a bump at the bottom where it meets the road. I anticipated the bump, but this morning we had a bump and a loud scratch. We proceeded a bit down the road, and realized that something was not right.
Thankfully, we were barely down the road, so we just turned around and brought the car back home. The pick up truck got to serve as our transportation this morning, so everything went on as scheduled, and Amanda was only about 5 minutes late.
Needless to say, you can’t get to where you are going on a flat tire.
